Im not a believer in yo-yo dieting crazy "get slim quick" schemes but I do think that if you moderate your sugar and saturated fat intake you can lose inches off your waist in a reasonable amount of time. Im not going to eat celery and carrots' for the rest of my life just so I can wear a small swimsuit!!! I like yummy food and I'm not going to deny myself a nice slice of cake, just not every day! The trick is portions and once a week, instead of everyday. I dont weigh myself all the time, but I might once a year or something but to me the real judge of how "fit" I am is my jeans! ;-) I measure my waist once a month to see were I'm at. I dont have a certain number I'm trying to get to but it is encouraging when that number starts going down. Anyhow, a couple of my girl cousins and I are "holding each other accountable" to what we eat and our daily exercise rutine. For me its better than going it alone! So here's what I ate today so far and I still have to do 20 minutes of exercise!
Hears to moderate activity and sensible eating habits!!!!!
Breakfast-
2 small cups of coffee + 1 sweetnlow + 1 tbs half n half ( i know but its sooooo good!)
1/2 cup skim cottage cheese w/ 1/4 cup unsweetened bluberries- yummy
( this was no small feet considering I made the rest of the house wafflesw/ strawberries/whip cream + bacon, sausage and eggs!!)
now im having 1/2 cup of mixed nuts and a DIET pepsi
okay i finished the day with yellow bell pepper and hummus. a mozz. cheese. a diet pepsi. for dinner.... JOANNA'S fault!!! she made Casa mia white pizza with chicken!!! yum! but i still did okay! i did come across a slice of chocolate cake at my aunt kathy's house and i couldnt resist. but since it was only one slice, i cut a tiny tiny tiny piece. soooooooo goooooooddddd! anyway, i finished the night with a bowl of puffins and skim milk! overall
